Horrible experience! Lot of mistakes and they don't even provide roper instructions. when I called in, even worse experience, instead of helping you solve your issues (due to their poor instructions), the manager had very bad altitude. I have used many Title companies though out years, this Chicago Title Company at Fremont is the worst experience by far. I would strongly suggest you to choose another Title company when you have a need.

We have a refi going through Chicago Title. We signed everything through a mobile notary who went to our home. Later Chicago Title made a mistake. They asked us to come again to re-do some paperwork. We are unhappy but we went to their office for signing. It took us an hour for the round trip. When we came in and asked what they could do to compensate our loss of time, they told us then that we can get a mobile notary to go to our home. Their attitude is "since you are already here, why do not you get it signed" and "if you want to sign it, you can do it. Else you can leave". We signed anyway. But their attitude earned them 1 star rating from us.

The women in the fremont office were so kind, knowledgeable and on point. Venetia does a personal signing with both buyers and seller's, even during covid. She explained each document. I was very happy with my visit and experience in this office.

They didn't schedule a time with me rather called me late evening around 6:30pm saying I should sign the docs right away. They sent out third party who had no knowledge of the docs what I am signing, late in the night 8pm and it took me more than 3hours. Also the third party had all my personal info like SSN. The worst closing experience I had.

Worst experience with this company. Be careful because they do lot of mistakes and major mistakes in legal documents like wrong parcel no, wrong amount and wrong address etc. If you don't read carefully and ask them to change, they will let you sign on wrong information. The incharge for this place is ill mannered, will misplace original documents, never accept her mistakes and will argue with you. I have to give 1 start to post this comment otherwise I will give them a straight zero. Never recommend this place to anyone.
