If you are looking for a vehicle. Go to Brian he is exceptional, he has the patience. He does not try to push a sale to you , rather he goes based on your needs or wants. I purchased this vehicle a week ago. The reason why I put 2 star review. I would have put 1 star but thanks to Brian it is up a star. The vehicle I purchased , 34,400 miles on a 2024 Toyota Corolla. Supposedly the mechanics check thoroughly that the vehicle is in condition and no issues. I HAD A TIRE BLOWOUT ON THE HIGHWAY SWERVING AND ALMOST COLLIDING AND TURNS OUT THE FRONT TIRES WHERE AT A 3/32". I get it , CarMax sells used vehicles and the car I purchased was used. I understand that the tires wouldn't be new. But to at least to have the decency to put 50%-70% life tires. Not 20-30% life tires knowing the customer is making a big purchase. This is not a $100-200 purchase. It's insane how they handle things like this. America's Tires helped me out with it. SO YEAH, If you go to look a vehicle , take it to a mechanic or bring your own mechanic because the company only cares for $$.

Had a great experience with Manvir at CarMax. He helped us get into a 2026 Toyota Supra and really made the whole process smooth. From the moment I walked in, he was the only one who actually took the initiative to approach and help me. Everyone else kind of looked at me like I was just browsing, but Manvir treated me like a serious buyer right away. That stood out. He was super informative, answered all my questions without any pressure, and even hooked it up with a few extras which I really appreciated. Overall, just a genuine and professional experience. If you go to CarMax, ask for Manvir.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the customer service at CarMax. Earlier that day, we visited the dealership to look at a vehicle and spoke with a sales associate. Since the price was higher than we expected, we decided to look at a few other places before making a decision. When we returned later that afternoon, the associate who had originally helped us was no longer there. We politely asked the front desk if another associate could assist us. Instead of helping, the woman at the front desk simply told us, “Sit over there and wait for him.” She gave us no explanation, no estimate of how long the wait would be, and made no effort to find someone else to help us. We sat there waiting for about 15 minutes and nobody came to assist us. Nobody checked on us, nobody updated us, and nobody seemed to care that we were waiting. We were serious potential buyers ready to continue the process, but the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was shocking. I’ve never felt so ignored and unwelcome at a dealership. If this is how CarMax treats customers who are ready to buy a car, then there is a serious problem with customer service. We ended up leaving because we were tired of being treated like we didn’t matter.

Everything was good except the waiting times. We came at 7pm, they said we’ll need to wait for 45 minutes and that we will get a call when its out turn. We came back after 1 hour with no call back. Then they told us to put our car in the garage. We thought okay good, its starting. But then they told us we need to wait atleast 45 minutes now (they close at 9). So effectively our turn will come at 9:15 and they’ll wait for us. But the process after that takes atleast 30 minutes. So we were there till 10pm. My issue is with the false advertising, don’t say you can do it in 30 minutes when you can’t. Be correct with the wait times if you’re making your customers wait. If i knew it needs 3+ hours, I’ll plan it like that. Don’t disrespect your customers and their time.

I bought my bimmer here recently. Here are several things that are great about this place: - They give several days of courtesy period to return the car if you don't like it for any reason. This is absolutely a life saver. You can spend this time to do independent inspections and various testing procedures. I found several issues with my car before and after buying, some of which were subtle. They have handled most of them, and part of which are covered by warranty. So I kept the car. - Lower prices at purchase. For the car I bought I paid at least 5k less for what it's worth elsewhere, taking into account it's year, low mileage, condition and executive premium packaging. Apart from all the patches and almost a month at service, that was a steal! Currently there is literally no car like this on the market as of now, even if I am willing to pay 10k more ! - Higher prices at sell. For my own car they offered around 5k higher than all other competitors. Their offer was just about the price my friend offered to buy the car from me ( knowing how I babied it for years ). - Friendly and communicative staff. I have had long conversations with both sales and service people, and they were always responsive, cooperative, reasonable and transparent. Great experience. - Fast buying experience. Maybe the best I would say. That being said here are the few improvement suggestions to level up this CarMax game: - Offer some basic carwash at least. The other times I picked up the car from service it was not washed ( except for the first time when I bought ). Maybe they did that intentionally to not scratch, but anyways. - Maintain the cars. There are small issues that could have been fixed even before buyer noticed them. Like residues from components, small dents, small scratches, repairs under warranty etc. Take care of them, maybe dedicate a QA person IDK. It is hard at scale, but at least for luxury segment do this. - Know thy cars. Some folks I chatted lacked expertise in BMWs, even for basic things like how ideal exterior condition should look like, what package is on the car, what features does it have and what it doesn't have. - If wait times are long offer service at alternative locations. Be a bit scrappy and proactive about options.
