Bundoo Khan is hands down one of the best South Asian-style barbecue restaurants in the Bay Area. My wife and I had wanted to try it for ages, and we finally got an opportunity for a midweek lunch. The place is spacious and clean, and somehow has an American diner feel to it. The menu is limited but interesting, with the meat clearly being the main focus. There are hardly any options for vegetarians. In fact, my wife tried the only veggie option on the menu, the Bun Kabob (veg). It was fantastic: a crispy potato patty inside a soft bun with a spicy sauce. I went all out on the meat just by myself. I tried the Signature Chicken Tikka Roll (spicy), the Chicken Tikka (Bihari) leg, and the Chicken Gola Kebab. Everything was excellent. The gola kebab is melt-in-your-mouth soft. The roll was tasty, but pretty oily, so next time I will probably just go with naan. The Bihari chicken tikka was also unique, garlic-forward but delicious. The service was relatively quick. Highly recommend if you want to try something different from the usual Indian food at most places, but just as authentic and legitimately tasty.

The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, which felt a bit longer than expected. The fries were overly salty and could have been better balanced in flavor. The grilled chicken had a nice char and looked well-cooked on the outside, but the meat near the bone needed more time as it was slightly undercooked. That said, the seasoning and overall taste were good. With a few improvements in consistency and timing, the experience could be much better. Overall, it was an average dining experience.

This place is a must-visit for kebab lovers in the Bay Area. After hearing rave reviews from friends, we decided to give it a try and were immediately greeted by a packed and cozy restaurant. As a self-service eatery, we had to navigate through the crowd to find a spot to settle down. We ordered a variety of dishes, including chicken tikka roll, beef kebab roll, chicken seek roll, fish grill Bihari style, and chicken malai boti. The condiments and water were conveniently placed for self-service, making it easy to get started. The service was a bit chaotic due to the large crowd and takeout orders, but we managed to get our food in a few minutes. The rolls were fried and wrapped around the meat, which was a bit oily but still flavorful. The chicken boti was a standout dish, melting in my mouth with its rich sauce. The fish grill Bihari style was also delicious, with a perfectly seasoned fillet grilled to perfection. Overall, we had a great experience at this kebab joint. I’m already looking forward to trying more of their dishes and exploring their extensive juice and ice cream menu.

Good food and friendly service. I tried the chicken roll in naan and the faluda, and both were delicious. The chicken was flavorful, and the faluda was refreshing and well-balanced. My only suggestion is that the roll could be wrapped a bit tighter, as some of the filling leaked while eating. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I’d happily come back to try more items from the menu.

Great halal restaurant. This is a bigger location compared to the Fullerton, CA location and it has better parking. My favorite items I usually like to get are: Garlic naan Chicken malai boti Beef bihari boti Desi omelette Chicken malai boti or beef bihari boti roll (substitute the paratha (because it's too oily) with a garlic naan) Signature chicken tikka Other items I like: Bun beefy burger ( patty needs a bit more flavor though) Okay items which I won't be getting again (flavor needs improvement): Masala fries (not like the fries in Pakistan) Karachi fries All the kabobs they offer Puris (this fried flat bread is just too oily and it hurts my stomach.) Nihari on the weekends had too much oil. Definitely not getting their chai. That dood pati chai is poison for my stomach. It's boiling all day in those chai containers and every time I've gone there and gotten chai, it's messed up my stomach afterwards.
