I had a great experience at BMW of Fremont for my recent oil and filter change. Nilesh was my service representative, and he was fantastic to work with—highly professional, attentive, and welcoming. He kept me informed throughout the process and ensured everything was handled efficiently. The service was completed smoothly and on time, making the whole visit seamless. I highly recommend Nilesh and the team for their excellent customer care!

Two bad experiences in a row — BMW of Fremont proves that poor service here is not an exception but a pattern. This is my second major issue with BMW of Fremont in less than a year. Last time, their improper wheel alignment caused severe brand-new rear tire wear — less than 8,000 miles before both rear tires were almost bald on my X7. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and even withdrew my original review, hoping it was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, I was wrong. During my most recent visit (October 11, 2025) for rear tire replacement with tire company 30% off goodwill offer and alignment, things got even worse: The alignment had to be done twice because the first time failed their test. The Check Engine Light came on during service, and they tried to charge me for diagnostics fee $380 even though the fault clearly appeared during service. They later admitted it happened under their care and simply cleared the code. When I picked up the car, the engine cover wasn’t even reinstalled properly during their diagnostics on CEL fault, and two clips were broken when I did a quick visual check on-site before leaving— confirmed by the advisor on-site. On top of that, the advisor tried to sell me unnecessary services like a $714 vehicle main battery, $486 software update, and $83 key fob battery replacement. This entire process — rework, CEL trigger, physical damage, and sales-driven attitude — has completely destroyed my trust in this dealership. For a BMW-authorized service center charging premium prices, the lack of skill, care, and honesty is shocking. BMW of Fremont operates like a sales-driven shop, not a professional service center. Think twice before bringing your BMW here — premium prices do not guarantee premium service. I strongly recommend that BMW owners in the Bay Area avoid this location if you care about your vehicles and their peace of mind. Update after dealership response (Oct.15, 2025): I appreciate that BMW of Fremont replied, but their message was a generic template — it did not address any of the specific issues I described. My concerns included: – The Check Engine Light (CEL) that was triggered while my vehicle was in their possession. – The rework of alignment that caused unnecessary delays and stress. – And finally, the engine cover clips damaged during service, which their advisor (Kumar) personally confirmed at pickup. Yet the dealership’s reply makes no mention of these facts. It simply asks me to call their general number — the same number customers are always sent to voicemail. I genuinely hope BMW NA reviews how this dealership handles service quality and customer accountability. For anyone reading this, please be cautious and verify your car carefully before and after any service at BMW of Fremont. A luxury brand should not mean luxury prices with corner-shop workmanship.

I recently brought my car in for a simple oil change and the experience was nothing short of frustrating. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this dealership has little regard for its customers' time. The check-in process alone was unnecessarily long and disorganized. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I stood around waiting just to be acknowledged by a service advisor. There was no sense of urgency or efficiency, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unprepared. To make matters worse, what should have been a routine oil change ended up taking well over 2 hours to complete. An oil change is one of the most basic and straightforward services a dealership should be able to perform quickly, especially when a customer has a scheduled appointment. There was no proactive communication about the delay, no apology, and no explanation for why it was taking so long. I checked the app on my phone and noticed that they moved and parked my car outside for the past 30 mins. So your telling me it's been done for 30 mins but didn't even communicate that with me. For a luxury brand like BMW, I expected a premium service experience to match the premium price tag. Instead, I was left sitting in a waiting room for hours with no updates. This level of service is simply unacceptable, and I will seriously reconsider returning to BMW of Fremont for any future service needs. Do better. Update: They left a pre-written comment on my review saying to reach out to management like all the other reviews. If this dealership cared they would reach out to the customer personally.

Brought my iX for vehicle check at Fremont BMW. Easy to make appointment online & there were plenty of time slots available that worked with my schedule. Service adviser was friendly & clearly explained what needed to be done. Service video was txt to me to keep me posted on what has been done during vehicle check. My car was cleaned & re-charged when picked up. Overall very pleasant experience at Fremont BMW

Extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and misleading service experience — especially from the Service Manager Andrew. I brought my BMW back to this location after getting brake and tire service done at BMW Mountain View (same AutoNation group). A severe scraping noise started a few days later, so I took the vehicle to BMW Fremont for inspection. They charged me $325 claiming that a “rock” was stuck between the rotor. At first, they even said they weren’t sure if the rock was kept. Only after I asked for evidence did they bring out a small pebble that clearly did not match the noise recorded. The noise pattern in my video (scraping only while driving and disappearing immediately when braking) is not consistent with debris at all, and later the original advisor at Mountain View confirmed in writing that the noise was likely caused by dust/heat shield contact — which is an installation-related issue from the recent brake service. What made the experience even worse was the behavior of Fremont’s Service Manager, Andrew. He was consistently dismissive and unprofessional: • He spoke to my son in a blaming tone, immediately suggesting “Did you run over something?” before even inspecting the vehicle. • He ignored my son when he stood in front of him waiting for assistance, continuing a conversation with another employee without acknowledgment. • When I asked to review the repair video (which I had been shown in the past on another visit), he raised his voice and reacted defensively, claiming their camera system had been “broken for three months” and insisting his technician “was not lying.” • His overall attitude was arrogant, dismissive, and made communication extremely difficult. On top of that, the Fremont advisor documented a completely incorrect statement about what my son said, as if to justify their misdiagnosis. This was highly concerning and felt intentionally misleading. This entire situation resulted in multiple unnecessary visits, hours of wasted time, and completely avoidable stress — all caused by workmanship failures, contradictory explanations, and unprofessional conduct. I have already filed a case with BMW North America and submitted a BAR complaint due to the dishonest and unacceptable practices I experienced here. I strongly advise anyone considering service at this location to be extremely cautious and double-check any diagnosis, communication, and charge they receive.
