⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big 5 off Mowry in Fremont still delivers unbeatable deals and top-notch service! I popped in for a sun hat with better vents—marked $16, but rang up at $10—what a find! Took me right back to high school, when their deals were just as good. Huge thanks to Assistant Manager Fresh (hope I got that right) for his friendly greeting and for asking every customer how he could help. The store is packed with fishing gear, basketballs, volleyballs, kayaks, water socks, coolers, swimwear, shoes, backpacks, flip flops—the list goes on and on. I even filmed a quick walkthrough to share all the great finds. I’ll definitely be back next time I need gear or just want a solid bargain. #PaulEverHome @BayAreaWithPaul

Store has good daily ads. I was told right away where the products I wanted were. Did not have to roam around trying to find them.

its been a while since I've been here and the place is much brighter and inviting. didn't really walk around too much. Think the staff could do a better job at engaging customers. Had to ask for help while standing at the counter for a bit🤷🏻‍♂️ so that's not exactly great.

Good place to buy shoes and boots, sleeping bags. Weekly sales and markdowns. Customer service, however, may not be the best.

Been going to this Big 5 for 30+ years. Trying on discount shoes with my dad after looking at the deals in the newspaper. My wife and I always drive by and wonder how they're still open in the current brick and mortar environment. Well,we are still left wondering after going in there for snow pants. Don't get me wrong, we got some snow pants for our son at a decent price and he was able to try it on. But there are roof leaks leaking through disrepaired celing tiles, in multiple spots. There's items in the store that looklike they've been in that store from 30 years ago because they've had since damage. And hardly any effort is put into stock and organization on the shelves. Employees seemed THRILLED to be working therel (Please see the sarcasm there..) Sad that old historic stores are doomed to disappear. Can't imagine this location lasting another 5-10 years. But hey, PROVE ME WRONG! (Our experience back in January '25)
