Hours on weekend are too short, 7 pm close. Plenty of people still here so I argue it’s not based on usage, see photo at Sun 7pm. Price went up again this year and yet things like hand sanitizer stations were fully removed around gym. Please put them back. Also, equipment needs maintenance, treadmills out of service for many months. Replace them if parts are not available (they are old).

They offer a wide variety of sessions led by excellent trainers. The only downside is that the swimming pool is outdoors, so can only be used early morning or evening . Manager Cory is always helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure great experience.

I especially want to recognize JP. Even though I wasn’t taking a personal training session with him, he still took the initiative to help me with my pull-ups. He carefully observed my form, gave clear and practical tips, and explained what I should focus on to improve. What really stood out was his patience and genuine willingness to help without expecting anything in return. JP is not only knowledgeable, but also very encouraging. He made me feel comfortable asking questions and motivated me to keep pushing myself. After following his advice, I could immediately feel the difference in my technique and strength. That kind of support truly makes an impact. In addition, the whole team deserves praise. The front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming, the other trainers are professional and supportive, and the cleaning staff keep the gym clean and organized. It’s clear that everyone takes pride in their work and creates a positive environment. I’m very grateful to be part of this gym community and highly recommend it!

This place promised an upscale experience. I had been a member for a year, and this is my experience: The upstairs area where there are elliptical machines - 4 out of 7 machines are defective in some way. First of all, those machines are far fewer in number than needed. One of them even has the rubber cover torn off the +/- buttons, forcing you to push the buttons on a circuit board. I’m not kidding. Others have either a wobble, or a ‘catch’ which results in jittery exercise experience, or the smooth movement you expect. Next, the treadmills. Most of the time, 2-3 treadmills out of I think 10/15 are out of order. Some others shake badly when running at speeds above just 4.2 miles per hour, which isn’t even medium pace. The strength training machines are old, some of them have too much resistance due to bad maintenance. Many machines are occupied by people just sitting and doing stuff on their phones! Very rude. Overall, I’d say the “upscale” part of the experience is missing. I canceled my membership and not going back. Oh - one more thing : if you want to cancel, make sure you do it just before the month end. Because the contract says you have to give them one calendar month notice! I didn’t realize this, and gave notice on the 3rd of the month, only to be told, could only cancel the next month end! Beware of this.

Family Locker Room Issues: 1. Dirty tiles and flooring in family locker room bathrooms. 2. Dirty lockers in family locker room 3. Cracked toilet seat 4. Some Locker hinges are broken in family locker room 5. Hair dryer is close to faucet & sink, and are often wet in the family locker room, which is a major electrical hazard, risking electrocution. Bayclub should install hairdryer holders on the wall. 6. No trash bags for garbage containers in family locker room shower area, which is not hygenic. 7. Exhaust fans in all family locker bathrooms are not working. This is causing difficulty to breathe due to circulation problems. 8. puddles of water not being drained properly which is extremely dangerous and slippery in the common bathroom areas 9. Broken shower arm holder with sharp piece protruding outward, which is dangerous while showering Men's Locker Bathrooms and Shower Area: 10. Rust under vanity and door to pool area 11. Dirty Tile Grout Area in Men's locker 12. Smelly and dirty bathrooms in Men's locker (need to hire a custodian and professional janitorial service) 13. Steam and Sauna Rooms need professional sanitization and cleaning daily by a proffessional cleaning janitorial service 14. Towels need to be restocked in Men's locker room when not running low Outdoor Area and Gym Area: 15. Hot Tub Towels are not always restocked 16. outdoor towels need to be cleaner since some of them are very old 17. There is only 1 hot tub in the entire facility, and needs an additional hot tub indoor (like it was in the past). In the past there were 2 indoor hot tubs, which were removed. 18. Ellipticals, stair master, treadmills should be cleaned daily. Lots of dust and stains. General Comments: Some Staff Members are rude and need to be cooperative, helpful, and professional to the members. Shared Membership is a ripoff and dues are going up. Parking is full and difficult to find open spots during weekday evenings Family locker bathroom exhaust fans are crucial for removing humid, moist air, odors, and pollutants, preventing mold/mildew growth, protecting surfaces from moisture damage (like peeling paint/ceilings), and improving air quality for better health, typically venting moist air outside via ductwork to the exterior of the facility. Why aren't they working? Expensive and Overpriced club that is planning to raise membership dues, and doesn't offer a clean environment. Cafe was closed permanently without asking members to vote for this important decision. There is no Cafe and no restaurant (only vending machine), and fresh smoothies are no longer available. Bay Club Fremont closes too early on weekends (7pm) and should be open until 9PM. Other clubs such as Bay Club Courtside are open until 9PM. Bayclub hosts many squash events, and members are short of squash courts and pickleball courts. Members are rushed to leave the Fremont facility on weekends at 7pm. Professional gym cleaning companies specialize in sanitizing fitness equipment, floors, locker rooms, and restrooms using advanced disinfection techniques (like spray tech for tight spots) to combat germs, creating a healthier environment for members and preventing illness spread. Why cant they hire professionals to clean their facility daily and maintain it properly? Management should understand the concerns of the members. SEE ALL 20 PHOTOS
