Great service and they only charge for the dental service you *actually need*! Other dentists try to make money on any procedure they can sell you. Dr. Barakzoy and his team are experienced and have reasonable pricing if you do not have insurance. I highly recommend this dentist.

we visited Dr. Barakzai’s office today. Unfortunately, our experience was not satisfactory. While the front desk staff were friendly, respectful, and professional, our interaction with Dr. Barakzai was disappointing. He appeared irritated and unprofessional during the visit, which made us feel uncomfortable as patients. Although he may have been under stress or dealing with a busy schedule, professionalism and respectful communication are very important in patient care. In my personal opinion, I would not recommend this office based on today’s experience. California has many dental offices that provide both excellent service and a welcoming environment for their patients. Additionally, I was concerned about being asked for cash payment while insurance was also being processed at the same time. This did not seem appropriate and raised questions for me regarding billing practices. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service we received during this visit.

They charge extremely high prices, and the head of the clinic has a very rude and unpleasant attitude. They wanted to charge me $250 for just one tooth, and then they said it would cost another $450 to extract it. I was in severe pain and could barely cope, but they still tried to charge me so much. They are very unfair and have no compassion for patients.

Place is clean, and the professionals are professional, polite, and helpful. However, the office provides you with a form asking for your preferred name, but that message doesn't seem to reach those who will be helping you, as they referred to me as my legal name and not preferred name, so filling out that section feels like a moot point. Prepare to be misnamed. The text messaging system the office uses is a bust, informing and reminding you of your appointment with the wrong time and two locations you gotta pick between and pray you choose right. I recommend calling the office before your appointment and confirming the time and exact location to avoid any issues. My first appointment with the office went smoothly. I hope the rest goes the same. I may change my rating should the future appointments go more smoothly.

Dr. Barakzoy Mostafa, DDS, and his entire team provided truly exceptional care for my father during his denture and tooth extraction process. From start to finish, Dr. Mostafa was professional, patient, and incredibly compassionate. He took the time to clearly explain every step, made sure my father was comfortable throughout the procedure, and treated him with genuine kindness and respect. Denture work and extractions can be stressful, especially for seniors, but Dr. Mostafa made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and the follow-up care showed how much he truly cares about his patients’ well-being. It’s rare to find a dentist who combines skill, precision, and heartfelt compassion the way Dr. Mostafa does. We are extremely grateful and highly recommend Barakzoy Mostafa, DDS to anyone looking for a dentist they can truly trust
