I visited Anika’s last night. It was a little busy at first, but we were able to grab a booth right away, which was a great start. We ordered the Volcano Roll, Mango Crunch Roll, and Instagram Roll. The Mango Crunch Roll was definitely my favorite. It had a nice kick, so if you like spicy food, this one is a must-try. The Volcano and Instagram rolls were both really good too. We also tried the Fremont Fire Roll, which came out literally on fire. The presentation was cool and definitely eye-catching, but the flavor didn’t quite live up to the hype. I was expecting more given how dramatic it looked. Overall, it was a really good experience. One thing that stood out was that by around 8 PM, the restaurant had completely cleared out, which felt a little unusual. Also, I remember they used to serve a crunchy appetizer before the meal, but we didn’t get that this time. Not sure if they stopped doing that. Still, solid spot and I’d definitely come back, especially for that Mango Crunch Roll.

My mom and I wanted to go this one Japanese restaurant but parking is too full and decided to turn around to go to this one instead. I’ve been here before but that’s been years since I last visited. This is a surprising experience because I didn’t expect a place to be almost empty on a Saturday afternoon. The place looks nice though. I really like the art and decorations here. Also, it’s not humid here since they probably use AC. We wanted to order 9pc sashimi but didn’t eat other items that come with it since we ordered our own lunch specials. It’s just too many food. From our lunch specials, they not only come with rice and a side but other items like tofu. That’s unusual for a Japanese restaurant to serve but it adds a unique touch. The food is actually good though, but I believe that the representations of our meals should improve a bit since they kinda look like something you can get from a grocery at the hot meals section. Also, the lunch plates are too big that we can’t fit everything. Therefore, we decided to ask the staff to remove anything that comes with a sashimi.

The service and the vibe of the restaurant is very cool and my waiters were very attentive and nice! The food was okay. I got the Jumbo Jim roll, it had way too much cream cheese inside and I couldn't tell the flavor of the roll. The miso soup had no tofu and some of the seaweed was too hard to chew. I did like the complimentary crab salad.

Stopped by with the family last Wednesday (the 14th) for dinner. We decided to try the Kirby, Jake's Salmon, and the Chicken Ramen. The sushi rolls were decent, but honestly, the ramen was a bit of a letdown. I kind of regret not getting the Chicken Udon instead—I have a feeling that would have been the better choice. It wasn't a bad meal, but I expected a bit more from the noodles.

Aniki’s Sushi is an easy five stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ You truly get a lot of value for your money here—the portions are huge, and the sushi is absolutely delicious and right on point. Every roll feels fresh, flavorful, and generously prepared. If you’re hungry, this is definitely the place to go. You’ll leave full and satisfied without feeling like you overpaid. It’s rare to find a spot that balances quality, quantity, and price this well. Highly recommend.
