I couldn’t believe how close this little store was to so many places I already visited. The location is tucked away in a side street but only blocks away from the Rumi bookstore, mid east market, and a couple halal restaurants. The shop itself is fully packed with beautiful garments, all handmade from Afghanistan. I bought my son a cute little green perran and I bought myself a more casual kuchi dress for everyday wear. I’d treat myself to won of their more extravagant traditional dresses one day when I have the occasion to. Inshallah. The owners are so lovely and kind-hearted- I would recommend calling ahead in advance to ensure they are open before visiting.

Afghan Bazaar, located on Bonde Way in Fremont, CA, is a small store specializing in authentic Afghan wedding and party clothing, jewelry, and other traditional items. Despite its size, the store is packed with merchandise, offering a variety of unique and culturally significant pieces. The prices are higher compared to other clothing stores, but the selection is unique and caters to those looking for traditional Afghan attire. Customer service is decent, though the staff seems to expect customers to make a purchase—if you browse without buying anything, they don’t seem too pleased. The store is not very busy, with typically one or two customers inside at a time. Street parking is limited which can be a challenge at times. Despite these minor drawbacks, I give them a 5 out of 5 to support their business and the effort they put into preserving and providing authentic Afghan fashion and accessories. If you’re looking for traditional Afghan clothing and jewelry, this is a great place to check out!

Great atmosphere, even better food, and the sheer chair is perfect!

Did not have a pleasant experience here. The owner or the person who was working the day i visited about a week ago finally opened the door after standing outside . She let me in and I showed her what type of clothing I was interested in , i let her know I liked to purchase something light weight in a afghan dress, she owed me a few and was very nice but when i asked her the price she said $170 for a thin dress . Not only is this store overpriced but the customer service was horrible. I ended up not getting anything because first of all she was rude and secondly when she informed me of the price i told her that is pricy for that price and she didn't want to show me anything else. I ended up leaving and disappointed. I ended up driving all the way to Sacramento where not only did i find one beautiful dress but twp very beautiful dresses with jewelry for a reasonable price and the manager at that store let me try on about 10 dresses and was patient with me .

I had a very disappointing experience. The prices were unreasonably high, and the old woman assisting me was rude and unprofessional. She seemed confused and wasn’t able to answer basic questions. Her behavior lacked basic customer service manners. I don’t recommend this place based on my experience.
