99 Ranch Market completely changed the game for me. I’ve always loved Chinese dry pot and would regularly spend close to $100 every single time I ordered a dry pot tray from restaurants. After shopping here, I was finally able to make my favorite mala dry pot completely from scratch at home, and honestly, the quality came out amazing. The biggest discovery was finding the Haidilao Spicy Stir-Fry Sauce (Mala Xiang Guo style) once I found that sauce, it was game over. That sauce is the heart of the entire dish and gave it the authentic restaurant flavor I had been chasing for years. I was honestly blown away by how many authentic ingredients 99 Ranch had available all in one place. I picked up broccoli, cauliflower, lotus root, celery, lunch meat, fish balls, pork feet, bean sprouts, mushrooms, black fungus, dried chili peppers, Chinese cooking wine, different soy sauces, bok choy stems, and the wide sweet potato vermicelli noodles imported from China, which I completely fell in love with. The noodles had an amazing chewy texture and absorbed the mala flavor perfectly. Being able to combine all these ingredients together and customize the dry pot exactly how I wanted while spending far less money than restaurants made the experience even better. I honestly feel like I saved close to $100 while still making a huge tray packed with ingredients. If you enjoy authentic Chinese cooking, hot pot, or mala dry pot, this place is absolutely worth visiting. Great selection, authentic ingredients, and it opened the door for me to start making dishes at home that I thought only restaurants could make well.

Reviewing only the container was used at this hot food deli, my husband brings home a fresh cutup soy sauce chicken. issues was not the chicken, but the container - which was not the idea more safe plastic #5 PP but the plastic # 7 (other)which 100% consider not any near safe for hot food. Truly wish this hot food deli quickly moved to plastic # 5 pp 🙏. due to this plastic #7 (other) showed up, i now reserved my recommendation this hot-food deli.

Positives: It's a just an interesting place to shop for Asian cuisine and ingredients. I love their bakery and seasonal items during the Lunar New Year. The housewares aisle has everything from soup spoons to rice cookers. If it seems like I am giving them a lot of credit for basic expectations, perhaps I'm trying to balance out the... NEGATIVES: The hot food bar is a hot mess. It's self serve and they don't mind if you overload your containers. Unfortunately, this translates to some customers making a mess of things, with food and utensils landing in the wrong trays or on the countertop. This is less of an issue if you go early. The fried items always seem overcooked or just greasy and soggy. The American staples like sweet n sour pork or sesame chicken are mostly batter and sauce that must be half sugar. It's impossible to get pieces of meat that are caked with sauce with the consistency of expired Elmers glue. This place has it's charms but if you're not Asian (or in my case, I don't present as such) you may find the customer service lacking or just plain cold. This isn't always the case, but I find myself looking for the non Asian cashiers. I don't feel like there aren't many younger shoppers there and their clientele are going to, uh, age out and I don't know if the other shops and restaurants in the plaza are enough to keep them viable five years from now.

We can get all the food we need here.. Even though Chinese, we can get some of the ingredients we need to make Indian food, for example to make chicken curry. We also sometimes for a change by buying some Chinese food at the deli table. It is an attraction for grandchildren attraction for our grandchildren because too, the snacks were great for eating, especially the ramen snack and Asian chips. The checkout, was also great. The cashiers were extremely polite. People should make one Ranch 99 in every 2-3 communities!😀

99 ranch market Is honestly one of the best neighborhood supermarkets. You can always get fresh meat there for a good price, fresh fish and excellent produce. The place is always busy so there is turnover in their product selection and if you are hungry and just need a quick satisfying snack, they have the hot tables. In my honest opinion, the food quality in the hot deli has diminished over the years, but it's still okay if you just need some quick cheap Chinese food to satisfy your eed if you're just hankering for some noodles, veggies or fried tofu which is what I usually grab. I don't really recommend the the dim sum. It's honestly subpar in my opinion. Stick with the fresh meat and fish counter, the excellent produce and the Asian grocery staples they put on sale weekly.
