Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every user, Merchant, campaign, integration, API client, and person acting through YupUp. Violations may result in content removal, throttling, suspension, termination, disclosure required by law, or other protective action.

You must not use YupUp to

  • Break law, regulations, court orders, carrier rules, platform terms, or third-party rights.
  • Send spam, deceptive messages, phishing, unlawful robocalls or texts, or messages without valid sender-specific consent.
  • Use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended, shared, or unlawfully obtained contact lists.
  • Promote illegal products or services, fraud, malware, counterfeit goods, hate-based abuse, exploitation, trafficking, or threats.
  • Target or exploit children, collect children’s data without approved safeguards, or solicit sensitive information unnecessarily.
  • Upload malicious code; probe, scan, overload, bypass, or interfere with security, authentication, rate limits, or networks.
  • Impersonate a person or business, obscure sender identity, manipulate reviews, or make materially false claims.
  • Use AI output without human review where errors could cause legal, financial, employment, housing, healthcare, safety, or other significant harm.
  • Make eligibility, employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, or similarly high-impact decisions unless YupUp has expressly approved the use and required safeguards are implemented.
  • Collect passwords, financial account credentials, government identifiers, health data, biometric data, precise location, or other sensitive information unless the feature and contract expressly permit it.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, benchmark for a competitor, or access the service except as allowed by agreement or law.

Messaging-specific duties

  • Identify the actual sender and campaign purpose.
  • Maintain consent records and supply them promptly on request.
  • Honor STOP and all reasonable revocation requests promptly across channels.
  • Use accurate frequency disclosures and reasonable caps.
  • Observe recipient-local quiet hours and stricter state/carrier requirements.
  • Do not evade filters through rotating numbers, domains, URLs, or identities.
  • Do not send after YupUp or a carrier suspends a campaign.

Enforcement and reporting

YupUp may investigate, request evidence, reject content, limit features, preserve records, notify affected providers, or suspend access where it reasonably believes a violation or risk exists. Report abuse to abuse@yupup.ai and security issues to security@yupup.ai.
