I am writing this review and I hope this incident happened only to me and not to other customers. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I called The Bicycle Garage to schedule an appointment to repair my son's e-scooter, which had a flat tire. The receptionist told me, "Bring in your e-scooter, and we will fix it, but it may take a few days." When I brought the e-scooter to the shop, the receptionist asked, "Do you have a replacement inner tube?" This was never mentioned during my initial phone call. As a result, I had to drive back home to pick up a spare tube and return to the shop. The receptionist then told me, "We will call you when we repaired the flat tire." I waited 10 days and called the shop several times, but no one answered the phone. Since I could not reach anyone, I went to the shop in person and spoke with the same receptionist who I had talked to 10 days earlier. I told the receptionist, "I have called several times, but no one answered. That's why I'm here. Has my son's e-scooter tire been repaired?" To my surprise, she did not remember me, my name, the repair request, or even whether I had asked for the front or rear tire to be repaired. After checking with the repair team, she came back and said, "We are working on it now." Also, I have not got any apology word from the receptionist. Are you kidding me? I had called several times and received no response. I had waited 10 days without a single status update. After all that time, I was told, "We are working on it now." I was so disappointed the answer. Of course, I ask the receptionist to stop your service and return the e-scooter to me. Eventually, I came back home without repairing the e-scooter tire. I am really shocked I was faced such a bad customer service in my life. I strongly complain to the owner about how the employees are trained. Good customer service is essential for business, and unfortunately, there is no such customer service. I am sure that I will never return to this shop again.

Super amazing family run bike shop. I bought my Velotric fold 1 plus electric bike from them. They helped me set it up the same day i came in even though i was told i would likely get my bike the next day due to the volume of work they had. I've come back a few times since I bought the bike for various installations and adjustments on it and they've always been super prompt and helpful. They have everything you need and if they don't, they'll order it for you. They have the biggest selection of electric and non-electric bikes I've ever seen in one store their size and all the knowledge a beginner would need to choose the right bike. Dont waste your time with other shops.

Overall really shady service. I paid for a full tune up and when I came to pick up my bike, the front wheel didn’t spin. I brought it to them and they said they forgot to do it and redid part of the tune up??? They also told me that every time you get a flat, you should replace the tire - honestly pretty shady for people that don’t know that much about bikes. I’d only had about 100 miles on those tires….

I've been here years ago and I was disappointed. Centripetal closed sadly and had no choice to go to bicycle garage. My bike was there for service and asked for gear adjustment and I received it worse. If the owner has any decency he would contact me and correct it. When I picked up the bike the owner wasn't there and the staff which is made up of 16 year olds were having a pizza party at the cash register. 6 teenagers were laughing, I don't know if they were employees but they all were gathered around the cash register. Andrew was unprofessional with a pizza slice in his hand went to get my bike and I grabbed it before he did because I didn't want grease on my handlebars. I gave it a chance and never again. Fremont needs a better bike shop. Owner if you care contact me and fix adjust my gears properly because I paid for it.
