This bookstore was neat & clean and lovely. Very wide collection on Islamic books, history, Quran. I loved the collection of books written specifically for kids. Very interesting and colorful books for kids to keep their interest and learn the important lessons. There was also a big collection of hijabs, fancy, formal and for daily wear. Islamic theme home decor was very beautiful. And there were Abayas, and thobes for men. Will definitely go again.

When I moved away from the Bay Area I realized I left behind one of the best Islamic bookstores EVER! Now every time I visit home I go to pick up the latest books. A beautiful and thoughtfully curated collection of books for kids and adults alike, Rumi Bookstore NEVER disappoints (only my budget stops me from buying out the store!). It is my honor to shop and support local. I cannot recommend enough!

First time here and was surprised at the selection here. Yes, it is a bookstore but also they sell garments, jewelry and gifts. Very good selection. Prices are very reasonable. Lots of items in a relatively small space. I only saw street parking. This would not be a good place to take small children that want to touch everything. Staff was very helpful.

Rumi Bookstore is a great source of Islamic literature. We purchased a few books and the brother at the counter was very kind and welcoming! They carry many home decorations that would be great as gifts. However, I would agree with a previous review that the evil eye amulet shouldn't be sold in a place that is meant to be a reliable source of products for Muslims. It's clearly shirk and only Allah can protect us.
