Racist/discriminatory I’m a black Muslim woman. I went in one evening to see if I could find any erasable Cinnamoroll pens that I liked. I had the worst experience. I was the only customer in the store and the owners kept following me very closely and even confronted me saying I had looked around enough and that all the pens were the same. If you’re someone that likes pens, then you know that no, all pens are not the same. Some write differently than others, and it’s about finding the one you like best. They essentially harassed me until I finally said I would just leave and they said yeah that was a good idea! Will never be returning and would never recommend. Highly doubt I would’ve had the same experience if I weren’t black and muslim. They have tons of cute stuff but their behavior was beyond rude and unacceptable. Not sure if they were having a slow day and were already annoyed, but I won’t be back unfortunately.

KNOWINGLY Selling FAKE pokemon cards Went in to get a pack of english Mega Evolutions. Got to my office, ripped open the pack to discover they are fake. Go back, demand my money back, the guy behind the counter said "oh, your the second person to come in saying that". I got my money back but only after I had to correct him that I also paid tax. He didnt seem bothered to remove the packs I just reported as fake so I demanded he remove them. Only then did he actually care about his customers, he was fully prepared to keep selling fake packs. Reporting this to the police as well.

Shop is filled with adorable items for Hello Kitty, Pokémon, BTS, Pusheen, and more! The owner is friendly and helpful. Gifted us an eraser based on a scene from Didi that was filmed in the shop :) If you need gifts, this is a great place to go!

so stinkin’ cute! Coming here as an adult is the best since I can get whatever I want haha! the owner told me the shop has been around for over 20 years and was really sweet to talk to. I’m so happy they’re still here through the pandemic too. everything is very reasonably priced with so many different things to choose from. plushies, posters, stickers, and socks. I got a few items, but the thing I wanna share is this amazing sailor moon poster for only $5! my childhood dream come true. see you again soon hilltop 🏡
