I had one of those “smart” thumbprint-reading doorknobs. It was on lock and the thing died so I couldn’t get in as the physical key was in the room. Ben was able to pick the mini key port within a minute of arriving. Including reference of the knob. The damage is my own doing trying to get in w a credit card btw.

The absolute best! I can't thank him enough! We worked with Ben, he was kind, empathetic, professional, very fast and does not price gouge. This was a true emergency as we had locked ourselves out of our house with our baby asleep inside. I was in a complete panic. I called other locksmiths, only to get rude dispatchers, telling me we had to pay hundreds extra and wait over 25 minutes to hopefully be connected with someone. I was willing to pay anything to not have to wait. We were one more dispatcher interaction (hold/please wait) away from calling the fire department to break down our door. I'm so glad I came across and called Ben. He answered his own phone, no dispatcher! He not only calmed me down but left his warm dinner to come help us. I was expecting to be charged an arm and a leg because other locksmiths charge extra for an emergency. I was willing to pay anything to get to my baby fast. Ben didn't charge us a lot at all, I'm still flabbergasted by the kindness and empathy. We will recommend him to everyone we know!

I reached out to GreenKeys Locksmith because I needed to rekey a lock, and I am so glad I connected with Ben. Instead of just taking my money and scheduling a service call, Ben was kind enough to tell me that I didn't actually need a locksmith for this specific job. He shared some helpful YouTube videos with me so I could easily do it myself. He mentioned that he was happy to come out if I still wanted him to, but that it really wasn't a good use of my money. This is THE BEST locksmith around. I met Ben around 2014 and he's the only guy I call. He's helped me more times than I can count, and because I've always been happy in every experience with him, I'm eager to share this hidden gem. It's great to support an excellent local business, and he frequently goes above and beyond. Great service, great communication, highly skilled, vastly knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, helpful, dependable and always honest. And, if he doesn't offer what you're looking for, he'll point you in the right direction. If you don't have a regular locksmith, you just found the last one you'll ever need. Highly recommended.

I called Ben after seeing his reviews on Yelp. I needed to change my front door lock after a year-long complete remodel of my home. He was very responsive and I was even able to get a rapid quote by sending him photos of the front and back of the current lock and door handle. After agreeing to have him do the work I had to reschedule due to the chaos of multiple workers and contractors coming and going - Ben was calm, understanding and courteous. When he came and started the work he shared several observations with my wife and I that showed a deep knowledge of his craft and a care for us as customers. There were several aspects of the way the general contractor installed the locks on two exterior doors that were concerning. Ben communicated with us in a way that wasn't pushy or an attempt to "upsell". He clearly described the problems he saw and let us absorb the information and ask follow-up questions. In addition to the original job he quoted, we had him address several issues with the way the deadbolts and strike plates were installed on a couple of exterior doors. He also made several new keys on the spot. He also provided a consultation on installing locking pulls on our interior pocket doors. Ben really know his stuff, explains things exceptionally well and will go as deep as you want to technically. He was thorough, efficient, respected our property and reasonably priced. Easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. If you need a knowledgeable locksmith with superior attention to detail and great people skills, call Ben. You will not be disappointed.
