I do most of my own work on all my vehicles and finding a trustworthy shop is hard these days. Wayne is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I know. He is an honest down to earth guy and he'll tell you like it is. I’ve had him handle jobs that were too big for me to do at home as well as diagnose issues that stumped me for weeks. Wayne and his crew are great people. This is one of the only shops around that I know I can trust.

Wayne is an honest mechanic. I take my 1972 El Camino and my 2016 Mustang GT350 there. His team does a great job, and he will tell you up front if a repair is not worth the cost or if a job doesn't fit his schedule. I've done my own car work most of my life and generally don't trust anyone in car repair or sales. Wayne's is the only place I know where I don't worry after I drop my car off. Thanks, Wayne.

I found Carters Auto Repair off a vintage mustang group I belong to. I read the great reviews so I decided to set an appointment up with Wayne. I have a 68 Ford Mustang that had a rough idle. From the moment I first talked to Wayne I knew my car was going to be well taken care of. Wayne collected a thorough history of the car and went step by step over all the cars systems. Within 3 hours of dropping it off, he called and gave me a detailed report about the car. Wayne ended up fixing an improper installed PCV valve hose, installed an electronic ignition in the distributor, flushed and refilled the radiator that had rust in it, inspected the transmission and found small seepage, replaced a piece on the rear differential that was leaking, readjusted the carburetor, and removed a glass fuel filter that was dangerously close to the intake/exhaust manifolds. Wayne's passion for mustangs really shows, and he has been working on them since he was 7 years old. Wayne will be my go to mechanic. He is a perfectionist in all his work and his pricing is extremely fair and reasonable. Thanks Wayne for getting my 68 back on the road!
