Rewards Program Terms

Program-level customization

Use this as YupUp’s default platform terms and add a merchant-specific program summary showing sponsor, eligible locations, earning rules, reward values, expiration, exclusions, and contact information.

1. Sponsor and platform

Each rewards program is sponsored by the Merchant identified at enrollment. YupUp provides technology and may administer features for the Merchant. The Merchant is responsible for advertised products, services, rewards and customer service unless stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility and enrollment

Participants must meet the age and location requirements in the program summary and provide accurate information. One account per person unless allowed. Membership is free unless clearly disclosed. Marketing text consent is not required to join or make a purchase.

3. Earning and redemption

Points, visits, offers or other benefits are earned and redeemed only as described in the program summary. Rewards have no cash value, are not property, are nontransferable unless allowed, and cannot be combined where excluded. Returns, cancellations, fraud or errors may reverse activity.

4. Expiration and changes

The program summary must clearly state expiration and inactivity rules. The Merchant may change or end a program with notice required by law. Previously earned benefits will be handled as stated in the notice and applicable law.

5. Account security and abuse

Participants must protect access credentials. The Merchant or YupUp may correct errors, combine duplicates, suspend activity, or close an account for fraud, manipulation, resale, abuse, violation, or legal risk.

6. Communications

Service notices concerning the program may be sent as permitted. Promotional email or SMS is optional and governed by separate consent and terms. Opting out of marketing does not cancel rewards membership unless the participant separately requests closure.

7. Privacy

The Merchant’s privacy notice governs its program data. YupUp’s Privacy Policy describes its platform role. The Merchant must provide required notices at enrollment.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, rewards are provided as available and may be subject to inventory and exclusions. Neither the Merchant nor YupUp guarantees a particular benefit or value beyond the published rules. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Questions and disputes

Contact the Merchant first regarding purchases, points and rewards. Contact YupUp support for platform access issues. Governing law and dispute terms are stated in the applicable Merchant program summary and YupUp Terms for the platform.
